As these bespoke pieces of artwork are based around a silhouette it is really important that I can work with the photo that is provided. The photo needs to be taken fully side on, with their head looking straight ahead. It also helps with perspective if you get down to their level. If it is in memory of a pet we can work off a template and any photos you have
I will work with the photos and create between two and four roughly drawn drafts on an iPad. The standing ones are landscape and the sitting ones are portrait
On receiving the drafts take time to discuss and deliberate on which one you like the best. Some people like the combination of two drafts.
Once the final draft has been agreed the final revised piece of artwork will be produced. All printed artwork is completed by adding my signature with a dip ink pen.
Each carefully produced portrait is placed in a transparent protective bag, wrapped in tissue paper and placed in an elegant black envelope, ready to be posted (every Monday). Digital JPEG's are emailed instantly once payment is received. I would suggest printing them on 270g silk paper at a local printers.

If you would like to have more than one pet, using the letters in their name, on an A4 or A3 print then that can be accommodated. Two pets or even three can be drawn onto one piece of artwork
I am one of the few art websites that does not take a deposit or full payment up front before I start these custom pet portraits using the letters in their name. After I have sent you the art and design drafts and you do not like them I will not charge you. We just agree that we both tried.
